GEMS production capacity is near 10 million tons in 2011, with actual production in previous years at around 3 million tons. GEMS coal is mainly 4200 kcal/kg (GAR), 4800 kcal/kg (GAR) and 5300 kcal/kg (GAR). Current export markets are to China, India, Thailand, Vietnam and Bangladesh. GEMS exports coal through coal terminals located in Bunati Sungai Danau (South Kalimantan) and (Teluk Bayur Padang), which have 5 million and 3 million tons capacities respectively. Production is expected to ramp up to 15 million tons by 2014. Surveyor
Kalimantan Tengah
Requirements:
- Maximum 35 years old
- Minimum STM Geodetic/Survey
- Having minimum 2 years experience as surveyor on mining industry
- Knowledge of mine planning and survey related software
- English min. passive
- Willing to work at mine site
Mine Plan Design Section Head
Kalimantan Tengah
Responsibilities:
- Undertake short and long term production and financial planning to determine the resources required to operate the pit, manage operating cost within budget
- Support daily technical aspects of the pit operation such as short and long term planning, blast design, drainage and road design to assist in achieving agreed coal production
- Prepare periodic reports as required
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering with minimum 5 years experience in open cut mining operations.
- Through knowledge of pit production activities and equipment, pit technical and pit maintenance process, procedures and activities.
- Good knowledge of coal mining terminology.
- Excellent planning, analytical and organization skill.
- A very good understanding of MINEX mining software.
- Good Interpersonal & communication skill in both bahasa Indonesia and English
- Possess “Pengawas Operational Pratama” certification from Directorate General of Mining and Energy is a good addition.
Hauling Road Maintenance Supervisor
Kalimantan Tengah
Responsibilities:
- Monitor road maintenance and improvements works according to the specifications required
- Plan to use proper heavy equipments for road maintenance
- Road cost estimation and evaluation
Requirements:
- Min. S1 graduate in civil engineering or relevant disciplines
- Min. 3 Years experience in the hauling road construction & maintenance
- Good knowledge in heavy equipment operational and road maintenance
- Able to operate computer (Ms. Office, AutoCad).
- Ability to use survey equipments
- Will be placed on site
Wellsite Geologist
Kalimantan Tengah
Requirements:
- Minimum STM majoring Geology
- Fresh Graduate are welcome to apply
- Having a Good Knowledge & able to use geological software is preferably
- Will be placed in remote area
